"... what can we cook today?" I literally get asked this question all the time. I totally understand the need and how a plan can make things easier for those of you willing to spend some time in the kitchen but feel overwhelmed when it comes to meal planning and weekly menus. This page is a work in progress... I will soon add Party Menus to give you some ideas for your next gathering. Let me know what you think and if you are looking for something more specific. (Send me an email via the about page.) Bon appétit!
Sardine Bruschette + Simply Roasted Asparagus
Day 1 This is the one of my absolute favorite bites and the least expected one. Very simple ingredients, one mighty sauce and an explosion of flavors that keeps me wanting for more. You will probably fall in love with these SARDINE BRUSCHETTE. Use a nice crusty bread and make simply ROASTED ASPARAGUS on the side...
Herb Infused Sauce for Ribeye + Potatoes (or Roasted Cauliflower)
Day 3 I love vegetarian dinners. It gives a break during the week and balances the family diet. There is always a side of vegetables but sometimes I like to serve the salad as the main dish. This GRILLED GARDEN SALAD bursts with freshness and bright notes. You can have a small OMELETTE as a protein boost if you feel like it.
Kiki's Chicken Curry
Day 4 This is Kiki's version of a very easy and delicious CHICKEN CURRY. It does not have the coconut drama, nor the weird and hard to find ingredients. It is a very simple and straight forward recipe. It is on the top of our comfort food list... Comfort food, Mom's Style!
Dessert of the Week It is only "one" dessert for this week, but you can serve it in small bowls and have individual servings of CHOCOLATE MOUSSE ready for every day of the week! Talk about a Machiavellian menu planning! ;)
Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca
Day 5 The myth behind the SPAGHETTI ALLA PUTTANESCA’s name is rich and “sassy” :) In Italian, it means “whore's style spaghetti”. It is ridiculously easy to prepare and most importantly; you'll love the taste and the story! I promise :))
Appetizer of the Week As outrageous as it sounds!! BAKED BRIE and a good bottle of wine is all you need for a relaxed weekend. Don't forget the bread!
