Bonjour!

Peanut Butter Mousse

Peanut Butter Mousse

This Peanut Butter Mousse is unexpected, soft and delicate.
For the peanut butter lovers, this dessert is a real delight. The toppings are curious and happily crunchy. Their different textures and flavors play with the sweet and nutty aromas of this airy mousse.

The mousse is extremely easy to prepare. It is beautiful when served in individual cups, specially if you add a tablespoon (or two) of chocolate sauce in between layers of peanut butter mousse.

Ingredients
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon powdered sugar, sifted
⅓ cup creamy peanut butter, softened
Chocolate Sauce (optional)

Garnish
Pop Corn
Banana Chips
Crunchy Chocolate Pearls

Directions
Prep and scale all the ingredients.
You will need a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and a silicone spatula.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk the heavy cream on medium speed until it starts to thicken. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar and continue whisking until you achieve a silky and smooth Chantilly.
Detach the bowl from the stand mixer, with a silicone spatula slowly fold in the softened peanut butter.
Divide the mousse into different serving cups or bowls.
Let it set for an hour or more in the fridge.

Serve it chilled with fun toppings.

Optional: you can add a layer of chocolate sauce in between layers of peanut butter mousse. (Use a chocolate sauce at room temperature or cold, not hot! It will ruin your mousse!)
